Centrify Connect: Two Days, Four Keynotes, 15 Business Sessions, 25 Technical Sessions and One Great Opportunity

Nothing beats getting a lot of very smart people together in one location around a mutual topic like cybersecurity.

Our teams have been working behind the scenes to create a two-day experience for our customers, with a mix of opportunities to hear from industry experts, from each other, and from our own Centrify product experts. We’re calling it Centrify Connect, and it is scheduled for May 11 and 12 at the Park Central Hotel in New York.

CentrifyConnect Branding
At the end of these two days in May, I expect that we will learn as much from our customers as they will have learned from us and from our industry guests. That’s usually the way it works.

In addition to connecting with our customers, I suspect the highlight of the conference will be hearing from our featured keynote speakers — General Michael Hayden and security guru Bruce Schneier.

Hayden, Michael-HR PhotoGeneral Hayden is a retired four-star general who headed both the NSA and the CIA between 1999 and 2005. This was a tumultuous time for America, which arguably marked the beginning of the cybersecurity challenge that our customers are facing today.

Schneier, Bruce-HR PhotoAs a security commentator, Bruce Schneier pays as close attention to the cybersecurity breaches in the news as we do. I’m looking forward to his perspective as one of the world’s leading computer security experts – but also from his philosophical view of what it means to be a private person in an age of unprecedented sharing and access.

AndrasIn addition to Hayden and Schneier, we’ll hear from identity and access management expert Andras Cser, of Forrester Research, as well as from our strategic partners and from Centrify’s own experts discussing best practices for protecting both end users and privileged users across today’s hybrid IT world of cloud, mobile, and data center.

Here’s a sample of topics we’ll cover in our Business Track:

  • Cloud app security
  • Securing outsourced IT
  • Best practices in Big Data security
  • Industry trends in mobile security
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) everywhere
  • Securing Mac and Mobile in the enterprise

The agenda includes solution showcases, business insights and panel discussions for IT and security leaders, tech insights as well as best practices sessions and deep dives for technical contributors.

All of this adds up to one big opportunity for both our customers, and our Centrify team.
