Every six months or so I like to give our current and prospective customers and partners an update on the status of our business. In my last update 6 months ago I highlighted Centrify’s OEM agreement with Samsung whereby Samsung will embed Centrify’s identity and mobile management capabilities as part of its upcoming Knox platform for enterprises. In this update I want to draw attention to our recently concluded Fiscal Year results (FY ending June 30) whereby the company posted its best-ever fiscal year, with record bookings and revenue; and that we are on track to exceed plans to grow sales more than 40 percent when comparing the current calendar year to last calendar year.
In addition to record sales, I was equally proud that we grew our installed base to a total of more than 5,000 customers, the largest market share in the industry. On the customer adoption front, I am pleased to report that Centrify now has as customers nearly half of the Fortune 50; more than half of the top 12 telecommunications companies worldwide, top 10 pharmaceutical companies worldwide, and top five US retailers; and half of the top 10 technology companies worldwide. The company has also achieved a 97 percent retention rate of customers over the past three years.
Besides posting our best-ever fiscal year and best-ever quarters as a company, I was also really pleased on how over the last 12 months we also continued to significantly extend our solution beyond the data center to comprehensively address identity needs for both cloud and mobile. Given that our new cloud, mobile and Windows products are just now coming on-line in terms of customer sales adoption, I am very bullish on both our business and in our comprehensive vision for Unified Identity Services that spans across data center, cloud and mobile. I believe at the end of the day we offer customers a ‘must have’ solution that provides real value in terms of giving end users a single login and IT one unified identity infrastructure.
The press also took notice of our momentum with the following articles in Forbes and Network World that were recently published, definitely check these out:
I would like to thank both our employees and customers for helping drive Centrify forward. Definitely a team effort and it’s great to have such positive interactions with our customers who want us to succeed. Again we are very proud of the 97% retention rate off a very large install base, so we must be doing something right in terms of customer satisfaction.
Finally, in this update I also would like to give a special shout out to our partners. Interest in partnering with Centrify was high in FY2013, as the company expanded its worldwide network of system integrator, value added distributor, and value added reseller partners. The contribution of the channel grew by more than 50 percent as compared to the prior fiscal year. And besides the aforementioned Samsung relationship, we struck new relationships and integrations with many other ISVs, SaaS vendors and cloud providers and their offerings including Dropbox for Business, Microsoft Office 365, Red Hat Storage, NetSuite’s SuiteCloud computing platform, Red Hat Smart Cards , Splunk, SUSE-powered software virtual appliances, Appcelerator for Titanium Studio-powered mobile apps, and also partnering with Apple around Mac OS X Smart Cards as well as Day One support for Apple Mac OS X Mountain Lion and Apple iOS 6 for iPhones and iPads. We look forward to bringing on and working with many more partners moving forward.
