Fresh off of our “Clear Choice” win of the NetworkWorld Single Sign-on Vendor Shootout, Forrester has published “The Forrester Wave™: B2E Cloud IAM, Q2 2015.” We are honored to have been recognized as a strong performer and for achieving the top score for strategy among the nine providers in the study.
As mentioned in previous blogs, Centrify has a history of innovating in the Cloud IAM space. We developed the first integrated identity and mobility management solution delivered entirely in the cloud; we were the first IDaaS company to surpass 2,000 customers, we were one of the first solutions to receive a “Works with Office 365” rating from Microsoft, and are the only IDaaS vendor to deliver a privileged identity management solution delivered from the cloud. This year we showed further innovation by releasing compelling features such as the On-Premises App Gateway for accessing on-prem apps without a VPN, as well as user lifecycle management and provisioning for Office 365 and dozens of other apps.
Persistent innovation is certainly one of the primary reasons that we believe Centrify was positioned as the top vendor for strategy in this Wave. We are grateful but not surprised that Forrester noted Centrify excels in the areas of end user self-service and reporting, and provides extensive support for mobile management.
When it comes to self-service, Centrify delivers the best end-user experience from a browser, with features such as robust Kerberos-based SSO to users apps including access to on-premises apps without a VPN, user device self-service to locate, lock and wipe their device, and account self-service management — all of which combine to reduce the helpdesk burden for password resets, lost devices and account management.
Several years ago, Centrify was the first vendor to recognize the need for, and to deliver, a completely integrated mobile management solution integrated into our Identity Service. With robust abilities to manage devices, secure native mobile apps, enforce policies, simplify app access from BYOD and secure the devices used for app access it came as no surprise that Forrester recognized Centrify for providing extensive support for mobile management. And better yet, Centrify includes fully integrated enterprise mobility management at no additional cost.
Also notice that in the report, Centrify ties the top strategy scores in customer satisfaction, channel/OEM partners, as well as development, sales and technical support staffing. We are especially proud of the customer satisfaction score which is based on a sample of customers that Forrester spoke with directly. Centrify values our customer success above all other categories. This is further evidenced by Centrify’s own customer research which over the past three years measured a 93% satisfaction rate and a 97% renewal rate across all of our production customers. These are truly phenomenal metrics for an enterprise software company.
Centrify has improved our position in the Cloud IAM market dramatically over the short time we have been in the market, and we are now arguably ranked one of the top vendors overall based on our growth and innovation, the top overall strategy score from the Forrester Wave, our strong showing in the recent Gartner Magic Quadrant, and most importantly, the “Clear Choice” winner of the hands-on independent test performed by NetworkWorld.
Overall we are quite pleased with the growth of the Cloud IAM market and with our position in it. For more info on the Centrify Identity Service (free trial here) or download and take a look at the complete report: “The Forrester Wave: B2E Cloud IAM, Q2 2015.”
